I am anxious to get training. I couldn’t meet with the Kroc Center today nor with Physio One. No training today, but I did get to catch the
last part of Shelly Johnson’s “Healthy Eating &
Cooking” class #2. If you’ve never taken any of these optional KROC
Center classes, I highly recommend them.
This one was free. My wife, Julienne, just got back from a week with the new twin girls of
our second son David and now is heading on Thursday for 10 days to Rochester NY
to take care of our 4th son’s children while the parents are on a
trip. Rather than cereal and milk I know have an idea how to cook quinoa and
black beans, mock garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato and cabbage slaw, garlic
brussels sprouts, and green beans and feta. During the next few weeks I plan to
try out every one of these recipes. Julienne is such a good cook, that I never learned. Now in our
later years I need to cook more frequently. It is enjoyable.
